Leighton Pope in B&W

In Black & White, Portraits on November 29, 2009 at 09:37

Leighton Pope is a photographer and film cinematographer in the New York area.  His websit features his wonderful work and credits, www.leightonpope.com.  He has completed several music videos for hip-hop artsist, shot multiple short films on multiple mediums (film, dv & hi-def).  “Truths, beliefs and justifications…the cognitive process…” – Something that definitely exemplifies Leighton’s unique creative mind.  Through the lens, he is able to tell the story with heightened emotion and flair.  Definitely an artist that stands out above the rest.

It was definitely a true gift to shoot Leighton at this point in his career.  These photos will eventually appear on his website and over social networks on the web.  Please feel free to leave comments for both myself and Leighton.  Thanks!

Amsterdam…FOUND!

In Amsterdam, Color, Europe on November 29, 2009 at 08:07

I found some of the Amsterdam shots that were left over on the roll left inside the camera.  Had them processed along with Leighton Pope’s headshots which will come next.  I am so happy I found these photos!  Hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments!

The Last of Europe

In Amsterdam, Black & White, Color, Europe, Munich on November 19, 2009 at 14:06

Munich & Amsterdam!

Only spent 17 hours in Munich and the last three in Amsterdam.  Didn’t have much of an experience in Munich except for amazing wursts in the Beer Halls.  Spent three days in Amsterdam afterwards and even as a sober person, its still a wonderful town .  Museums are fabulous, architecture is extremely unique, and the layout is near perfect and original!

On a much less positive note (and I have previously stated this before), the UPS Store in South Orange had lost multiple rolls of film and don’t have much to show you.  Irreplaceable photos, lost…

Anyways, there are more photos coming very soon.  Hopefully before Thanksgiving.  Leighton’s headshots to be specific.  Hope you enjoyed the Europe photos!
